Shogun 5-day trip

Just sent in my deposit for the Shogun 5-day trip leaving June 19th. BIG Fish Happen! Hoping for an early shot at Albacore and some good action down the beach.

The countdown is on...now less than three weeks from trip time and the signs from down below look very encouraging! Perhaps the best of both worlds on this trip: Offshore and a visit to an island or two?

Shogun leaves tomorrow (6/19) on the BIG Fish Happen 5-day trip. Hearing of excellent signs of bluefin plus albacore and a chance at some of those bil 'ol yellows at Cedros! I'll post a complete report after my return...

We had a few weather issues (no, even I cannot control the weather) but despite the challenges we did quite well and had a great group of guys (and one gal) on the boat. Overall a good time and I came home with plenty of fish.
